EG&R professionals have directed and managed many Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies (RI/FSs) for CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA, ECRA/ISRA (New Jersey), and State Superfund sites throughout the United States for several industrial firms, commercial establishments and government agencies. Our key professionals have the experience in fully evaluating the RI/FS requirements and developing the scope of work to fulfill these requirements. EG&R/UNIVERSE RESOURCES's senior professionals have successfully negotiated scopes of work for the RI/FS of CERCLA, RCRA and ECRA/ISRA (New Jersey) sites with EPA and state agencies. We have developed RI/FS work plans including Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAP), Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP), Health and Safety Plans (HASP), and Community Relations Plans (CRP) and implemented these plans.
EG&R's professionals have experience in all phases of remedial investigations including drilling, sampling, geophysical surveys, groundwater monitoring well installations in diverse geologic conditions, soil and groundwater sampling, soil gas surveys, aquifer characterization of both fractured and porous bedrock aquifers, groundwater monitoring, geotechnical testing, modeling and statistical analysis, data management and data validation, soil and groundwater data review and analysis, human and ecological risk assessment, assessment of soil and groundwater contamination, report preparation, and project management. Based on the results of the RI work, we have identified Remedial Alternatives and evaluated these against the criteria in the RI/FS guidance manuals. In order to select the appropriate remedial alternative, we have conducted bench scale tests, pilot scale studies and modeling
